Everyone is welcome to attend the upcoming talk “10 Steps to Researching the History of Your House in Sterling” on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 6:00pm in the Conant Public Library.
You’ll learn how to research the history of your house by walking through an example of a house in Sterling. You’ll learn about historical records such as census, land, probate, and vital records. Not to mention historical maps and local history books.
Even if you’re outside Sterling, the same methods apply across Massachusetts and New England. You can participate too! Many of the resources are the same for other Worcester County towns.
