Today I got my first look at the Fairbanks House in Dedham, Massachusetts just before the snow started settling in. The Fairbanks House is thought the be the “oldest standing timber frame structure in North America.” It was built between 1637 – 1641. I am lucky to live within a reasonable drive to this amazing house. I am looking forward to spending more time here when the weather gets warmer. Tours of the house start in May.
